We had the pleasure to work with Wendy and Tony last week. They are one of the most kind and affectionate couples we’ve ever met! Although it was a relatively long day, we had a blast! The outdoor shoot started in Santa Monica then to the rooftop where Tony proposed to Wendy. It got pretty cold during the evening but Tony and Wendy were such troopers. We went to USC where they attended school and got some breath-taking evening shots. Seriously, I was blown away by what I saw- a 360 degree view of the LA skyline! Check out their love story and engagement photos below.
Meet Wendy + Tony!!
How did you two meet?
We met at USC outside of Japanese class in November 2009. We both didn’t know each other, not even each other’s names- even though we were taking the same class at the time. Yet, shortly after we starting meeting up and hanging out!
What are your interests?
Wendy: Basketball. I played in high school but I don’t play much anymore. I also enjoy watching movies both in theaters and at home. We watched all the movies in 2010. Despicable Me is probably our favorite from last year! But our favorite movie is Up- it was our first movie together!
Can you describe a bit about him/her?
Wendy: Tony is cute. He treats me very well and I know he loves me and I love him *giggles* My favorite quality of him is his diligence. He’s also very loving.
Tony: Wendy is very selfless. She treats everyone very well. Of course, she treats me the best! And she’s very pretty. I love her smile and she’s funny! Her smile is what attracted me to her at the beginning.
How did Tony propose?
Tony proposed on 10/23. We went out to dinner in little Tokyo. He asked if I wanted to go to the rooftop- a little secret place we go to at school. He brought favorite bear- one with a zipper in the back- along with us and stuck the ring inside the zipper *laughs*
When and where is the big day ?
On 2/26 at the San Gabriel Hilton. We have 130 guests with just close friends and family.
How is the wedding planning going?
Almost everything is done! We’re just waiting for the wedding favors. Initially, Wendy and I wanted this heart-shaped mini plates as favors but the ones we wanted got discontinued. Now, we’re just waiting to find something else.
They are such a sweet couple! Just look at them!
Thank you for stopping by.
